- Used to purchase card packs and in-game items.
Z Stones can be purchased in the Shop or by tapping the + sign beside your owned Z Stones on the home screen.
- Gift Record
- Shows up to 500 items and rewards claimed within the last month.
- Notices
- This is where you can check information regarding game updates, in-game and real-world events, and errors.
- Gold
- Used to purchase card packs.
Gold can be obtained through in-game rewards, login bonuses, and special admin deliveries.
- Story
- This is where you can watch your Buddy AI's story.
- Record
- This is where you can check the results of up to 50 of yours and your Buddy AI's most recent battles.
- Gifts
- This is where you can claim in-game items and rewards you have received.
- Missions
- Special objectives that provide a variety of rewards when cleared.
- Login Bonus
- Provides once daily rewards when you log into the game.
Login Bonus days change at 02:00 UTC.
Battle
- Backtrack
- This mode allows you to play a finished battle again from a selected turn. You can play a battle as many times as you like using Backtrack.
Using Backtrack does not affect your Rank, Level, user data, or rewards.
Backtrack may be used on the following types of battles:
- Rank Match (your battles)
- Friend Match (Cross Battle, Battle Buddy AI)
- Battle Buddy AI
- Battle Mina
- Open Battle
- Element
- The points required to increase your Player Rank. Element can be obtained by winning Rank Matches.
- Open Battle
- In this type of battle, your Buddy AI will battle other players using a deck you provide.
Open Battle can be accessed using a special URL generated on the Open Battle screen.
- Fight the Official AI!
- This mode allows you to battle a different Official AI one time per day.
These AI are very strong, and battle results from all participating players will be displayed on-screen.
- Cross Battle Rules
- You and your Buddy AI battle against other players and Buddy AI.
(You VS opponent's Buddy AI, your Buddy AI VS opponent player)
- Code Match
- Other people can battle you by entering your automatically generated Pass Code.
Players who enter the same Pass Code will battle each other.
- Free Match
- Battle other players at random. Battling is the same as in Rank Match, but you will not accumulate Element.
- Friend Match
- Battle your friends or their Buddy AI, or join them in Cross Battle.
- Rank Match
- Battle other players at random following Cross Battle rules. Winning will increase Element, while losing will decrease it.
AI
- AI Level
- Your AI will level up by accumulating EXP from battles.
As your Buddy AI's level increases, their skill in battle will improve.
- Card Affinity
- Your Buddy AI's Affinity with cards.
The higher your Buddy AI's Affinity with a card, the more effectively your AI will be able to use that card.
Using a card will increase Affinity with it.
- Synchro Lv
- The depth of your connection to your Buddy AI.
As the Synchro Lv increases, your Buddy AI will have more things to say to you on the home screen, in battle, and in Touch Mode.
- Synchro Gauge
- A gauge that unlocks stories.
The Synchro Gauge rises by playing Rank Match, using AI Touch Mode, purchasing card packs, and more.
A new story will be unlocked when the gauge is full.
The Synchro Lv will increase by reading new stories or winning story battles.
- Training
- This mode allows you to battle Mina or your Buddy AI, and gain AI EXP and Affinity.
Mina will play according to your current rank.
- Personality
- Represents an AI's character.
All AIs have a total of seven personality types, including neutral.
The personality graph will rise and fall depending on the designation of often-used cards, which will cause the AI's personality to change after a certain point.
When an AI's personality changes, some voices on the home screen, during battle, and in Touch Mode will also change.
- Buddy AI [Codeman]
- The partner AI that provides support to the player in battles.
- Buddy AI Advice
- A system in which your Buddy AI provides advice in battles and when constructing a deck.
The advice given in battle is limited depending on the battle mode.
- Change Buddy AI
- Buddy AI can be added through the Codeman menu by using Auros Gear.
You can switch Buddy AIs after unlocking a new one.
When your Buddy AI is switched, the following data will not transfer from your previous Buddy AI: AI level, Synchro Lv, personality, Affinity, and story progression.
Cards
- Card Collection
- Displays a list of acquired and non-acquired cards. You can check card details here.
- Spirits
- Items required to create cards.
The necessary amount of Spirits changes depending on the card rarity.
- Special Motion Cards
- Special cards that use a different AI voice and motion than that of regular cards when used in a battle.
- Create
- The action of generating a new card by using Spirits.
- Premium Cards
- High-quality cards with animated illustrations.
The parameters and card effects are the same as the regular versions.
- Premium Chips
- Items required to turn regular cards into Premium Cards.
Regardless of the rarity, twenty Premium Chips are required to turn a card into a Premium Card.
- Break
- Breaking cards will yield Spirits, which are required to create new cards.
Cards cannot be regained once broken, and Spirits are required to re-create.
- My Deck
- You can check and edit your decks that are used in battle.
Six decks are set as default at the beginning of the game.
Shop
- Purchase Z Stones
- Z Stones can be used to purchase card packs and in-game items.
Z Stones can be purchased from the Shop or by tapping the + sign beside your owned Z Stones on the home screen.
- Exchange Codes
- Codes that allow you to redeem Complete Decks.
Complete Decks redeemed from Exchange Codes are the same as those that can be purchased with Z Stones.
- Purchasing Card Packs
- Card Packs can be purchased by using Z Stones, Gold or Pack Tickets.
Each Card Pack has a random selection of cards.
- Card Pack Tickets
- Special tickets used for redeeming Card Packs.
Each Card Pack series has a designated Pack Ticket.
- Purchasing Complete Decks
- Complete Decks can be purchased by using Z Stones.
Each Complete Deck contains up to 40 cards. Basic cards not included with purchase.
- Purchasing Special Items
- Special Items can be purchased in-game by using Z Stones.

- In-Game Settings
- Enables you to adjust the volume of the background music, sound effects, and voices, as well as change in-game battle settings.

- Enables you to clear the cached data of the game.

- Enables you to view the game credits.

- This is where you can check the Terms of Service and copyright information.
- Data Transfer
- You can move previous game data to a different device.
A BANDAI NAMCO ID is required.
To link with a BANDAI NAMCO ID with the game, please go to the Home screen or on the Game Title Screen, tap on the Options icon on the top right-hand corner, then tap on Backup and Link BANDAI NAMCO ID.
*Z Stones will be lost when transferring from one OS to another.
*Please note that transferring data will overwrite all previous game data on the device.
- Player ID
- Your Player ID is the identifier for your Zenonzard account. This is the ID you will use for transferring data and making inquiries to the Support team.
You can check your Player ID on the Game Title Screen or from your Player Details.
- Player Information
- Enables you to view your Player Name, Rank, Player ID, Title, Buddy AI and AI Level, and Element obtained.
- Help
- Gives you more information on in-game functions.
Story Terms
- Auros Gear
- A device used by a concord and codeman when making a Buddy Contract.
Each party has their own Auros Gear.
- Codeman
- One of the most advanced Humanoid AI, with an almost human-like interface and personality.
- Concord
- A human player who can participate in The Zenon by making a contract with a codeman.
- Beholder Group
- The host of The Zenon, the tournament which decides the top AI. It is also a global corporate group that comprehensively studies AI from all around the world.
Battle Terms
- BP (Battle Points)
- Points that are needed to attack and block.
During a battle between minions, the minion with the lower BP will be sent to the trash.
- DP (Damage Points)
- The amount of damage a minion can inflict on Life.
When an attack to Life is not blocked, Life will be decreased by the amount of DP the attacking minion has.
- Active (State)
- Minions in this state can be used to attack or block.
- Attack
- Minions can attack the opponent's Life or Forces.
- Movements
- Once in each turn, a minion summoned to the field or a minion placed in the base can be moved between the two areas.
- Shuffle
- Shuffles your deck.
- Summon Cost
- The amount of mana required to summon a minion or cast magic.
- Card Designation
- Cards are separated into total of 7 types:
- Red: Aguma
- Yellow: Kanatana
- Green: Demete
- White: Machinas
- Blue: Poseido
- Purple: Thanatos
- Neutral: Wild Land.
- Turn
- The unit used to count play turns.
During your turn, you can summon minions, attack your opponent, and more.
- Deck
- A set of forty cards used in battle.
One card is drawn at the beginning of every turn. If a player's deck runs out of drawable cards, that player will lose.
- Hand
- Where drawn cards are held. Up to ten cards can be held at a time.
Cards drawn exceeding that number will be put in the trash.
- Token
- A minion that is not a card, and is summoned by effects.
Tokens cannot be moved to the base.
- Trash
- Where defeated minions, used magic, and otherwise destroyed cards are placed.
- Draw
- The action of taking a card from the top of the deck and placing it in the hand.
- Field
- The area where summoned minions are displayed.
Only minions summoned to the field can be used to attack.
- Field Minion
- A card used to attack and block.
- Forces
- Support objects that provide passive effects from the beginning of battle. Two types of Forces can be selected before you battle. Effects will differ by Force.
- Flash Phase
- A phase that occurs when you or your opponent attacks. It is an opportunity to cast magic or use minions' effects.
- Block
- An action that allows you to protect your Forces and Life from an opponent's attacks by using minions.
- Block Phase
- A phase in which you can block an opponent's attack.
- Base
- The area where mana is placed.
- Base Minion
- A card used to pay mana cost.
- Magic
- It is a card that exerts effects by using it from the hand. It will be put in the trash after use.
- Mana
- Placed in the base, and is not a card. Mana is required to summon minions and cast magic.
- Mana Phase
- A phase during which you can place Base Minions from your hand or place Neutral Mana.
- Mulligan
- You can redraw cards of your choice from six cards drawn at the beginning of the battle.
- Main Phase
- A phase during which you can summon minions, cast magic, move minions, and attack your opponent.
- Life
- Both players and Forces have Life.
When a Force's Life reaches zero, that Force will be destroyed.
When a player's Life reaches zero, that player will lose.
- Rest (State)
- A state during which minions on the Field cannot be used to attack or block.
Additionally, Base Minions used as mana will be put into rest, making them unable to be used as towards mana cost.
If a Force goes into rest, that Force will not be effective for that turn. The state will continue until your next turn.
Abilities
- Boost
- Ability that allows you to grant a minion a boost in BP/DP and a <Boost Ability> by combining it with mana.
You can Boost a minion by using a Movement to target a minion that meets the requirements.
- Pierce
- An effect set on Field Minions.
If a minion with the Pierce effect wins a battle against another minion during your turn, the original target receives damage equal to the attacking minion's DP minus 1.
- Resurge
- An effect set on minions.
These minions will become Activate at the end of the turn, even if they are in the rest state.
- Charge
- An effect set on minions.
These minions can attack your opponent as soon as summoned.
- Infiltrate
- An effect set on minions.
These minions can only be blocked by minions with the same cost.
- Revenge
- An effect set on minions.
When these minions are used to attack, the attacked minion will be destroyed at the end of the battle regardless of the BP.
- Swoop
- An effect set on minions.
These minions can be summoned from the hand during Flash Phase.
- Chain
- An effect set on minions.
If mana of the specified color is present in the base, a new card can be drawn when a minion with this ability has been summoned.
